hands-up-banner1We also offer ‘2 year funding’ for eligible children which offers free nursery care in a similar way to the three and four year funding scheme. Compton Valley Nursery and Pre-school is open daily from 8am to 6pm all year round. We close for bank holidays and the Christmas break. We also close for a week during the Whitsun holiday to allow us to carry out refurbishments and improvements to the building and facilities.

Families may take a further two weeks holiday from nursery and will pay only half the normal fee rate. All other absences will be charged at normal fee rates. (This includes nursery closure due to adverse weather conditions).

Children must attend nursery for a minimum of one full day per week, to provide some continuity of care.

Fees are payable monthly, in advance, and are due on or before the first of each month. A late payment fee may be applied after the 15th of each month.

From the term after your child’s third birthday you will be eligible to receive ‘Early Years Entitlement funding’ for up to 15 hours free care per week for the 38 weeks of the school year. The scheme is quite detailed and more information will be sent to you at the appropriate time. We administer all aspects of the scheme so do not worry that you should be taking any action as your child’s third birthday approaches.

We welcome payment or partial payment via a ‘salary sacrifice’ system and already work with a number of companies who administer these payments. Payments are deducted from one or both parent’s gross salary, resulting in savings on tax and national insurance payments. You will need to ask your employer to set up payments and then contact us for any information you might need – such as account numbers/reference numbers. Self-Employed people can also take advantage of this benefit and should contact Revenue and Customs to find out how to go about this. Please be aware the scheme does not operate retrospectively and payments will need to continue by your present method until we receive the first salary sacrifice payment.

A non-refundable administrative deposit of £50.00 is payable to secure a place. When booking a place over six months in advance one months pre-payment of fees will be required, redeemable against the first months fees. One months’ notice is required to terminate a place at nursery. Where applicable, Nursery education funding will be deducted from monthly fees.

We welcome payment by on-line payment, cheque, cash or by salary sacrifice payments, or by a combination of different payment methods.

If you have any queries or require further information in relation to nursery fees, terms or conditions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
